A well shaped and toned up legs is what we most girls desired for.  When women pile on weight, it  tends to sit stubbornly on our hips, bottom and thighs.

CELLULITE

It is not easy to blast away those cellulite but its not impossible.  Today we are going to start a new exercise regime which will give us at least an inch loss in less than a month.


So lets get started with our effective moves which would get rid of those wobbly and cellulite-ridden thighs.

1.  SIDE LUNGES

A side lunge is a lower body exercise that targets not only the quadriceps but also the outer and inner thigh muscles, hips and glutes.  This exercise also targets the calves indirectly.   



2.  INNER THIGH LIFTS

This exercise specially focuses on Adductor muscles (inner thigh).  These muscles are the hardest muscles to target as exercises like running, swimming and walking do not zero in on the adductor muscles.




Inner thigh lifts will focus on your inner thigh and removes the fat layer and tone the adductor muscles.

3.  SINGLE LEG BRIDGE

The single leg bridge exercise is a great way to isolate and strengthen the gluteus (butt) muscles and hamstrings (back of the upper leg).  In order to hold the pelvis level throughout the exercise, you need to contract both the abdominal and lower back muscles.



If you are unable to perform this exercise, begin with the basic Bridge Exercise to build strength and then progress to the one-leg bridge.

4.  WALL SQUATS 

Wall Squats are used to tone up and strengthen your thigh muscles.  The quadriceps, or front of thigh, are the targeted muscles during this exercise but many other muscles get a workout also. The butt, hip, calf, back of thigh, lower back, abs, and side abs are all used during this move.




5.  CALF RAISES

Calf raise is the bodyweight exercise which strengthens and tone up the calf muscles. 


After performing the above exercises do some stretching exercises as well.  Stretching will increase your flexibility and reduce the risk of injuries.  Following are the few stretching exercises.  
  •  1 Minute Hamstring stretch

  •   2 Minute Pike Stretch

  •   30 secs Calf Stretch (each leg)


WALKING OR JOGGING

One of the very best ways to slim your thighs and improve your general health and well-being is to get out and walk — briskly and regularly.  So set aside 30-45 minutes for walk everyday. 


Those were the exercises that you can perform to get rid of cellulite around your thighs. I will be posting some more exercise regimes to keep you fit and healthy.
