I recently have started eating a fruit - COCONUT, which i didn't knew has multiple benefits for our health.  Only to my surprise i found out that the coconut is to stabilize blood sugar, lowering cholesterol, healing, hydration and even replacing blood plasma in an emergency.  Wow so many benefits by eating this difficult to open fruit.





BENEFITS OF EATING COCONUT

1.  Very few of us knew that coconut helps prevent obesity.  It speeds up metabolism and provides an immediate source of energy with lesser amount of calories.  People who are regularly consuming coconut products, report a stronger ability to go without eating for several hours with no affects of hypoglycemia ( It is a medical emergency that involves an abnormally diminished content of glucose in the blood). 

2.  Eating coconut's are good for improving one's immunityThey are antiviral, anti-fungal, antibacterial, and anti-parasitic, meaning they kill harmful bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites.

3.  Boosts energy and endurance, enhancing physical and athletic performance.

4.  Improves calcium and magnesium absorption and supports the development of Strong Bones and Teeth.  It does this by improving the body's ability to absorb calcium and magnesium.  It also prevents Osteoporosis (is a condition in which the bones beceome thin and fragile) and lose their density.  This makes coconuts a good, healthy alternative for those who are lactose intolerant, but still want to have strong bones and teeth.

5.  Eating coconut also Reduces Sweet Cravings and improves insulin secretion and utilization of blood glucose.  The healthy fat in coconut slows down any rise in blood sugar and helps to reduce hypoglycemic cravings.
So many benefits with easily available fruit in the market but with a difficulty of opening it.  It seems like a daunting task but think of it as another step towards achieving healthy you.
